Stay and enjoy! After ordering at the counter, we have plenty of seating options in our dining room, perfect for a meeting or to catch up with friends. The dining room offers wifi for customers and ample outlets to charge your devices. We also have seating on our seasonal outdoor patio.

It all began with great baked goods. Monica keeps our bakery case full of freshly baked sweet treats which is constantly rotating throughout the day. Catering and special occasion cakes are also available upon request. Now serving soft serve ice cream!

Grab and go bouquets, locally grown dried flowers, houseplants, and special occasion arrangements. Our flower bar greets you as you walk into our store - come say hi to Alex and ask about custom orders and wedding florals.

Coffee
Bloom offers a full array of coffee and espresso drinks. Coffee catering is also a great option for meetings or events. Our beans are locally roasted by Giv Coffee in Canton, CT.
About Us
At Bloom Bake Shop our goal is to spread joy through our baked goods. Everything we make is from scratch and custom made to order, and prepared in our kitchen in our store on Pratt Street. We love all things local, floral, and baked.
Bloom Bake Shop was started in 2020 by Monica Beaudoin, a Connecticut native. After attending Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island, Monica worked as a pastry chef and cafe manager for many years. Bloom Bake Shop’s signature style mixes her classic training and her experience with rustic country style baking developed while working in Virginia. In the Summer of 2021, Monica’s sister Alex joined her in the business, and together they grew it to include the floral component. Bloom offers cut flower bouquets and custom floral arrangements for events and weddings.
Bloom Bake Shop is located at 80 Pratt Street in Hartford, CT. We offer fresh baked goods, coffee drinks, and grab and go bouquets as well as a variety of retail items sourced from other local small businesses in store. We have a growing menu of lunch and savory options as well. Active in the Hartford community, Bloom Bake Shop is a board member of the Hartford Chamber of Commerce and the Pratt Street Merchant’s Association.
